The lack of vitamin A results in the keratinized epithelium which is further called as keratomalacia. Vitamin A deficiency is the most common reason of blindness around the world.

  • Ghee- especially if it is pure and produced from cow milk.
  • Carrots- when eaten raw or half boiled.
  • Pumpkin- boil it and mash it in curd, this will be delicious raita and complete nutrition.
  • Eggs- the Raw egg is a good source of vitamin A but may consist of some infections so better to use the boiled
  • Papaya- it’s better if green papaya is used.
  • Apricot- leave in water for 30 min and then eat for its complete nutrition
  • Other Vitamin A Rich Foods are Mangoes, milk, tomatoes, capsicum, broccoli, sweet potatoes and so on. And it’s better if everything is eaten half boiled.
