Honda Activa 6G Launch Date Confirmed, Check Price and Features

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda India has revealed the launch date of the Honda Activa 6G. The Honda Activa 6G will be launched on January 15, 2020. The company also inviting automobile bloggers and other influencers. Activa 6G BS6 was expected to be launched on November 14, 2019, but due to some reason, it gets delayed for an exact 2 months, but now when it is coming in a few days we are expecting some new features apart from the BS6 engine, there is much more special so let’s take a look at some already known specs of Activa 6G.

Honda Activa 5G is the 5th gen of Activa line up, It is India’s Largest selling two-wheelers, As per Report every month, 2 lakh to 2.5 lakh customers buy an Activa. Actually BS6 norms will be applicable from April 2020. As such, all companies are upgrading their cars and bikes. With the launch of Activa 6G, Honda Activa lineup will also fall in this category. This scooter is known as the best selling scooter in India. Upgrading this scooter line-up to BS6 is not the only changes, the company has patented 26 new technologies, so we can expect some of them in it.

Honda Activa 6G Engine

The Honda Activa 6G will feature BSG complied 109.19 cc air-cooled engine, which will produce 5.73 kw or 7.79 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm. The Honda Activa 6G uses programmed fuel ejection (PGM-FI) and enhanced smart power technology to deliver optimal power. Both its mileage and performance will be improved. Apart from this, Honda Eco Technology (HET) has been used in this scooter.

Honda Activa 6G Features

Talking about the features, this Honda Activa 6G will get a great digital/analogue instrument cluster, which will be equipped with some new features like real-time fuel economy and distance to impact. Apart from this, LED headlamps, new upper case crankcase with torque receiver and rectification fender have been installed to make the scooter attractive. Apart from this, the company can also launch new colour options for scooters. The wheelbase is also increased from 1238 mm to 1260 mm and there is also some increment in length from 1761 mm to 1833 mm. Thus there is almost 3 inches length increment, Height is almost similar whereas width has gone down by a few mm.

If we talk about the price then it is expected to cost 5-8k more than the Activa 5G thus the Activa 6G price is expected to be in between INR 63,000  to INR 66,000. After being equipped with BS6 technology, the company hopes that sales of this scooter will increase.
