Mahindra has launched the second generation model of its much-awaited offroader SUV Mahindra Thar. Leaks and roomers were coming out about this SUV for a long time. The SUV was also seen on the roads several times during testing. Many changes have been made to its second-generation model. Much has been changed in the SUV from both a cosmetic and mechanic perspective. It has been introduced with the new BS6 engine.
New Thar: Safety Features
Safety features like dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, river parking sensor, speed alert system, electronic stability program rollover mitigation, hill hold assist, hill descent control have been given for safety in this SUV. The company has not yet announced the price of this SUV. On October 2, the company will raise the curtain from the price of this SUV.

Mahindra Thar: Design
The overall design of the old model in the new Thar has been retained by the company. This offers SUV comes with seven slat grills. The new Thar uses a more compact grill than before. The SUV has new alloy wheels, redesigned taillights, and new rear bumpers. Now the front-facing seats have been given in the rear of the SUV. The rear side facing seats were given in the previous model. As per online source Apart from this, removable top, all-terrain tires have been given in the new Thar. The new Thar has been launched in AX and LX variants.
Engine Power
The new Thar 2.2 liter diesel and 2.0-liter mStallion turbo petrol engine has been given. The diesel engine generates 130bhp and 320Nm of torque. The petrol engine at the same time generates 187 bhp power and 380Nm torque.

Mahindra Thar: Interior
The new Thar All Black interior comes with layouts. The SUV comes with 7-inch touchscreen smartphone connectivity. Features like Multi-Information Display, Steering Mounted Control, AC, Cruise Control, Key-Lace Entry with Semi Digital Instrument Console.
Other than these details and some interesting tweets from some of the really know personals, everything available online is just rumors and expectations. Mahindra will release more details and pictures and maybe price details on October 02, 2020, so we can just eagerly wait for it.
