Well, there is not much to tell.
This career as an astrologer is a career of my interest, full time I am a businessman. I own a Saras dairy booth in mansarovar jaipur.
We moved here in Jaipur around a century ago. I and my elder brother are seventh generation Jaipur resident. I was born and brought up in Jaipur. My childhood was very pleasant and we used to live in old Jaipur city, in Ramganj area particularly. My father was a state government employ and worked very hard to feed the family. We are two brothers and two sisters. Both of my parents were very loving and had taught me well about my social and human responsibilities.
What prompted you to become an astrologer in Jaipur?
Jaipur is known as the city of astrologers. There are several references in the history where rulers of princely states all across India consulted with great astrologer in Jaipur.
During my early childhood I suffered a reaction from polio vaccine and was left paralyzed in both legs. This incident particularly moved my mother and she began to seek answers. When medical help failed to match expectations of my mother she turned to Indian astrology to find answers. My, father tough was a religious person but he took great care and helped me in getting back on my feet with the help of crutches. Owning to his nursing background and vast experience as a government employ he really took it to another level.
I am leading a normal life now and I have two brilliant sons and a loving wife. As, I told you earlier that my mother grew more and more interested in Indian Astrology, she was the one who laid my foundation in this field. my brother and my sisters are also avid believers, in fact its my brother along with my mother who pushed me to enroll in an authorized institution to pursue Indian astrology as a career. Since then its been a long time of more than 15 years and I am still learning and helping others. I’ll be forever thankful to them.
Tell us about your educational journey in ICAS for becoming astrologer in Jaipur.
Later from this institute I graduated in Indian astrology. First I did my praveen 1st then praveen 2nd. These are 6 months introductory diploma course offered by ICAS. After these I went for Jyotish visharad that is a 3 year degree program. Just recently I completed my Masters in astrology known as Gemini from the same institute. I am very fortunate to get the best guidance from some of the most prominent figures in astrology in Jaipur. My Guru Mr. Tiwari is an 11th generation astrologer From jaipur. So, I had a very rich interaction with him during my study time and I am still learning from him. He is a big part of foundation of my 15+ years of experience in this field.
Why you chose this field?
As I said earlier, my elder brother recommended this field to me along with my mother. Both of my parents were very supportive I just cannot signify one’s contribution over another, but both played a very significant part in my career. It was my mother who was deeply religious and she was the one who brought astrology into the circle of my family. My father was a Government employ but was very social and traditional man. He taught me to respect everyone and to be patient with myself. Before me my elder brother came into contact of an astrologer who was a government teacher who guided him and introduced him to this field. Being a government employ my elder brother wasn’t able to dedicate required time to this field and promoted this learning to me.
For me this is a great endeavor as stars and moon are fascinating for me. I always wondered about them and when I I started leaning this ancient knowledge I could help myself but to learn more, and rest is all history.
